So many lives, so many voices

Drowned in silence of the sea,

So many prayers so few responses

Seem to issue forth from Thee.

Timeless journey to the centre

Of a soul we cannot see

The peace of all eternity.

Maker of our fate and fortune

On the Wheel turned by thy hand

Krishna, Christ attend us soon

And shed your light upon this land

That we may end the endless heartbreak,

Mindless violence and war
